As the 2020 NFL Draft continues to draw closer, the New York Jets could not be more excited to get things started. After a very disappointing 2019 season, they are getting a new campaign started by adding more young talent. There are a lot of concerns in New York, but they can be fixed by nailing this draft.

While the first round is important and everyone focuses on it, the second round can be just as important and sometimes even more so. The teams who are able to find impact players who can play immediate roles in the first two rounds usually make big steps of improvement.

New York will be on the clock with the No. 48 overall pick in the second round. With that pick, the Jets should have quite a few options to choose from.

At this point in time, the Jets desperately need more offensive line help. They also need pass rushing and wide receiver help. All three of those areas should have talent to offer at No. 48 overall.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three perfect fits for the Jets with the No. 48 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

  1. Tyler Badasz has slipped considerably down as low as late 3 to mid 4! So He is not an option at 48! If Michigan’s Cesar Ruiz was there at 48 he would be ideal. Others to consider before Badasz might me Temle’s Matt Hennessy or Cushenberry from LSU!
