3 perfect fits for WR TY Hilton in NFL Free Agency

TY Hilton has been a longtime star for the Indianapolis Colts, but he is set to hit the open NFL free agency market this offseason. While he could end up re-signing with the Colts, there is also a good chance that he could entertain offers from other teams.

Last season with the Colts, Hilton ended up catching 56 passes for 762 yards and five touchdowns. They weren’t the numbers he was wanting to put up, but they were still solid nonetheless.

Heading into the free agency market, there are quite a few teams who could use some help at the wide receiver position. There are also quite a few talented receivers available on the market. Hilton is one of them and he should receive plenty of offers.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three perfect fits for TY Hilton this offseason in free agency if he chooses to leave the Colts.

3. Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers come in at No. 3 on this list and would be a great landing spot for Hilton. They needed a legitimate No. 2 option behind Davante Adams over the last two years and Hilton would be a great pickup.

In 2020, the Packers’ offense was lethal, but a weapon like Hilton would have made them nearly unstoppable. Depending on the price tag Hilton will require, Green Bay should be in on pursuing him in free agency.

2. Baltimore Ravens

Heading to another AFC contender could be another option for TY Hilton. The Ravens have been needing to find a top weapon for Lamar Jackson. Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is a good receiver, but he isn’t capable of handling the workload of a top target.

The only issue with this potential pairing is that the Ravens would have two speedy wide receivers in Hilton and Brown. They play a very similar style of football. However, Hilton has experience being the go-to receiver and that would help Jackson and the Ravens immensely.

1. Chicago Bears

Finally, there is another team in the NFC North that could make sense for TY Hilton. While the Bears are not expected to be Super Bowl contenders in 2021, they could be very dangerous if they make the right roster moves.

Allen Robinson is set to hit free agency this offseason as well, which could leave a hole at wide receiver. Even if they re-sign Robinson, Hilton could be a nice fit alongside him. This would be a good fit for both parties involved.
