3 perfect offensive targets for the Chicago Bears this offseason

Teddy Bridgewater, Saints, Colts, Panthers, Bears

Quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater

2020 will likely be Trubisky’s last opportunity to prove he can be a franchise quarterback in the NFL. Bringing in someone who can push Trubisky in training camp is something the Bears should strongly consider this offseason.

If they do decide to go that route, Teddy Bridgewater could be their guy. With five seasons under his belt, Bridgewater is a solid veteran presence who has the talent to replace Trubisky if he struggles again next season.

Bridgewater has a pedigree of winning in the NFL. He has a 22-12 career record as a starter, with five of those wins coming in the five starts he made last season while Drew Brees was injured.

He’s a natural born leader and someone who Trubisky could learn a thing or two from. Bridgwater likely won’t cost a ton either if he’s just coming in to compete for the job. Look for Bridgewater rumors to flood the Chicago air waves once free agency rolls around.
