2. Trevon Diggs, Cornerback, Alabama

Another position of need for the Eagles this offseason will be adding talent at the cornerback position. There is only one cornerback with this pick that Philadelphia should consider.

Trevon Diggs, the brother of Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, is a big-time talent in the latter stages of the first round. He totaled 37 tackles, three interceptions, one defensive touchdown, and eight defended passes. Those numbers would look nice in the Eagles’ secondary.

If the Eagles want to contend for a Super Bowl again, they need to start slowing down opposing passing attacks. Diggs can help with that immediately and would be well worth the No. 21 overall pick.
