Finally, A.J. Epenesa would be the best fit for the Falcons if he’s available. Some mock drafts have him going in the top-10, while others have him falling to this area of the draft. If he is on the board, Atlanta shouldn’t even consider passing up on him.
Epenesa put together a massive season in 2019 with the Iowa Hawkeyes. He ended up with 49 total tackles, 11.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and three defended passes. Atlanta needs to find more pass rushing this offseason and this would be the move that they need.
It will be interesting to see what direction the Falcons go with the No. 16 overall pick in the NFL Draft. However, Epenesa would be a dream come true for the defense both now and long-term.
