3 perfect options for the New York Giants with the No. 4 pick in the NFL Draft

2. Isaiah Simmons, LB/Safety, Clemson

Isaiah Simmons is without question the most versatile defender in the 2020 NFL Draft. He will be capable of playing both linebacker and safety at the NFL level. New York needs more talent at every position and having a player who can play multiple positions would be valuable.

Clemson’s defense was solid in 2019, thanks in large part to Simmons. He racked up 104 total tackles to go along with seven sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, three interceptions, and eight defended passes. Simmons will be ready to make an impact immediately, which is exactly what the Giants need as well.

At this point in time, Simmons is widely viewed as a top-10 draft pick. New York taking him at No. 4 may receive some “reach” talk, but many said the same about Daniel Jones and the Giants are feeling really good about that pick.
