3 perfect options for the Packers with the No. 30 pick in the NFL Draft

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

2. Justin Jefferson, Wide Receiver, LSU

The need for a wide receiver in Green Bay is real and the Packers should strongly consider LSU wideout Justin Jefferson if he is available. Jefferson is a big target at 6-foot-3 and 192 pounds and would give Rodgers the kind of size, speed, and athleticism that he needs.

In 2019 with the LSU Tigers, Jefferson caught 111 passes for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. His numbers may be a bit inflated due to playing alongside record-breaking quarterback Joe Burrow, but he is still a lethal threat. Green Bay would be getting a dynamic playmaker with this pick.

LaFleur and Rodgers seem to be on the same page even though the offense had some struggles. If they add more playmakers to the mix like Jefferson, they are going to be very difficult to stop.
