1. Kenneth Murray, Linebacker, Oklahoma
Finally, the top option the Packers should be eyeing right now is Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray. It was very apparent against the 49ers that Green Bay needs more talent and athleticism at the inside linebacker position. Blake Martinez is a talented player, but the rookie version of Murray would be an upgrade over him.
Murray put together a solid all-around season in 2019 for the Sooners. He racked up 102 total tackles to go along with four sacks and four defended passes. Some may not have seen much of him this season, but the Packers would be getting an absolute steal at No. 30 with Murray.
At 6-foot-2 and 243 pounds, Murray would bring size, speed, athleticism, and leadership to the defense. Green Bay cannot afford to pass on the kind of player that could completely turn around the middle of their defense.
