Jadeveon Clowney, Free Agent

Next up, Jadeveon Clowney could be a potential target for the Jets should they choose to open their checkbook. It has already been reported that Clowney will be looking for “market-setting money” in free agency.

Contending may be a priority for Clowney as well, but a market like New York would be appealing. If the Jets offer the kind of money that Clowney is looking for, it wouldn’t be shocking to see them have a chance at signing him. However, the franchise would be taking a risk with this move.

Clowney didn’t have a huge statistical season for Seattle. He totaled 31 tackles, three sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, an interception, a defensive touchdown, and three defended passes. New York should look into signing him, but they should be careful.
