3 perfect targets for the Cowboys’ defense in free agency

3. Bashaud Breeland, Cornerback, Kansas City Chiefs

If the Cowboys are looking for a bargain at the cornerback position, they should look no farther than Bashaud Breeland. He is capable of playing a big role, which he has proved this season for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Breeland racked up 48 total tackles to go along with two fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and eight defended passes. Dallas needs to find a guy like Breeland who can shore up their secondary, especially with Byron Jones likely on his way out.

More than likely, the Cowboys could sign Breeland to a relatively team-friendly contract. They may have to spend $8 million per season on him, but that would be well worth it. Breeland to Dallas makes a lot of sense for both parties.
