3 perfect targets for the Vikings with the No. 25 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft

Jeff Blake-USA TODAY Sports

3. Javon Kinlaw, Defensive Tackle, South Carolina

First up, the Vikings could choose to bolster their defensive line with South Carolina standout Javon Kinlaw. He could be gone by the time the 25th pick rolls around, but if he’s not, he would be a great addition for the Minnesota defense.

Kinlaw would be a massive upgrade on the defensive line for the Vikings. In 2019, he racked up 35 total tackles to go along with six sacks and two defended passes. He has a lot of work to do, but the raw talent is there.

Minnesota would be drafting Kinlaw to play a role immediately, but most importantly to develop over the next few years. They need more talent on both sides of the football. If Kinlaw is available, he might just be the best player on the board.
