3 perfect targets for the Vikings with the No. 25 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft

1. A.J. Terrell, Cornerback, Clemson

Finally, the biggest need for the Vikings might just be at the cornerback position. Xavier Rhodes is no longer the No. 1 corner that he used to be and Trae Waynes is set to hit free agency. Minnesota may not be able to afford to bring Waynes back and rumors are swirling that they will release Rhodes.

Terrell would be an excellent addition at No. 25. He was a stud at Clemson and put together a solid 2019 season. In 2019 with the Tigers, Terrell ended up with 34 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, two interceptions, and three defended passes.

The numbers were not as big as he produced in 2018, but they still show big potential. Minnesota needs help in the secondary, especially with all of the quarterbacks around the league who can pick apart weak defenses. Terrell would be an immediate impact player and could develop into the No. 1 corner the Vikings need.
