3 players the Eagles could target at No. 53 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Jeremy Chinn

Amid the free agency frenzy earlier this offseason, the Eagles parted ways with Malcolm Jenkins, choosing not to pick up his team option. At the same time, Philadelphia re-signed Rodney McLeod and Jalen Mills, with the intention of moving Mills to safety.

Seeing that this will be Mills’ first year as a safety, it remains to be seen how he performs at his new position. Provided that, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility for the Eagles to select a safety in the second round.

If Philadelphia wants to add an athletic freak at safety, Jeremy Chinn is an intriguing option. While attending a lesser-known college in Southern Illinois, Chinn combined for 31 pass breakups, 13 interceptions, and six forced fumbles in his four collegiate seasons.
