Again, what the Falcons do in the first round could determine what they choose to do in the second round. In this scenario, let’s say that Atlanta traded up to select a cornerback in the first round and were able to maintain their second-round pick in the process.

After taking a cornerback, the Falcons are left with a couple of glaring holes on the defense still. Despite signing Dante Fowler in free agency, Atlanta still needs to add more firepower in the pass-rushing department, making Terrell Lewis an intriguing option.

Lewis spent three seasons at Alabama, missing nearly two seasons due to injuries. Nevertheless, in his final collegiate season, Lewis racked up six sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss. Aside from the injury concerns, Lewis is a developmental project that has the tools to become an every-down pass rusher at the next level.
