While Brown would be an ideal choice for the Falcons, Javon Kinlaw could be the interior defender they are most intrigued by. As the draft has neared, Kinlaw has seen his draft stock gradually rise, with some teams considering him the best interior defender in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Before declaring for the NFL Draft, Kinlaw saved his best for last in 2019, notching six sacks, six tackles for loss, and two deflections. Amid his time at South Carolina, Kinlaw flashed explosiveness and ferocity when he was engaged with blockers.

In the event that the Falcons are keen on taking an interior defender, it’d be hard to argue that Kinlaw isn’t an ideal option. A duo of Kinlaw and Jarrett would give Atlanta a formidable interior for years to come.
