2. Geronimo Allison
Speaking of someone failing to step up opposite Davante Adams, Allison has never put it all together through four seasons. A promising start in 2018 was derailed by injuries, but his 2019 catch total (34) is his career high and he has still only topped 300 yards once in his career.
Allison is headed for free agency, so the Packers really don’t have much of a decision here. Bringing him back won’t be costly, but if he’s in line to be any more than the No. 4 receiver by the time the draft is over, it will be an abject failure by general manager Brian Gutekunst. The better move is to just let Allison hit the market, with no effort to bring him back other than as a last resort for depth on the margins of the roster.
