3 players the New Orleans Saints should try to trade for this offseason

The New Orleans Saints are heavily in win-now mode with Drew Brees deciding to return to the team for at least the upcoming 2020 season. There will need to be some upgrades to their roster to achieve the ultimate goal of a Super Bowl victory.

The 2019 season ended in a disappointing 26-20 overtime loss to the Minnesota Vikings during the NFL Wild Card Round. While they came close to advancing to the Divisonal Round, they would have almost surely been eliminated before reaching their ultimate goal.

Time is rapidly running out for the Saints to win a Super Bowl with Brees leading the charge. They are going to need to be aggressive in their efforts of bolstering their supporting cast before they completely run out of time to win it all with one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play.

Given how the Saints already have a roster with talented franchise building blocks, they are in need of doing patchwork to their supporting cast. Not everything can be accomplished in free agency and in the NFL Draft, so exploring the options in the trade market is advantageous.

Here are three players the Saints should consider trying to trade for this offseason.
