3 players the Packers could consider trading up for in the NFL Draft

Henry Ruggs III, Wide Receiver, Alabama

If the opportunity to get Alabama star wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was available, the Packers should do whatever they can to make it happen.

Last season, the Packers’ offense was missing one thing in particular. That thing was speed at the wide receiver position. It doesn’t get much better than Ruggs when talking about speed.

Ruggs ran a 4.27 40-yard dash at the NFL Draft Combine. Giving Aaron Rodgers that kind of a weapon would be exactly what the doctor ordered. He would also give Matt LaFleur another important wrinkle to add to his offense.

Green Bay still needs more help at wide receiver even after signing Devin Funchess in free agency. Ruggs would be the perfect addition for the Packers in this draft class if they could find a way to get it done.
