3 players the Packers could consider trading up for in the NFL Draft

Finally, there is one more guy that the Packers should absolutely consider trading up for if the price is right. Oklahoma star linebacker Kenneth Murray is an incredibly athletic linebacker, which is something Green Bay desperately needed last season.

Green Bay did go out and sign Christian Kirksey in free agency, but there are some concerns about him. His health has been a major question mark over the last couple of years. Adding Murray would make a lot of sense.

Last season with the Sooners, Murray racked up 102 total tackles to go along with four sacks and four defended passes. He has the speed and athleticism to play sideline to sideline and would fit nicely into Mike Pettine’s defensive scheme.

If the Packers are looking to make a defensive splash in the first round, Murray would be their guy. Gutekunst could very well take a long look at moving up to get him.
