3 players the Pittsburgh Steelers should move on from this offseason

Defensive End, Tyson Alualu

At 32-years-old, Tyson Alualu is coming off a solid season for a defensive lineman of his age. He recorded over 40 tackles, with four of them coming for a loss. But, he’ll probably hit a wall sooner rather than later, which could lead to the Steelers parting ways with him this offseason.

The Steelers have some very solid young players along their defensive front-seven, with T.J. Watt, Bud Dupree and Devin Bush leading the way. Pittsburgh is one of the best teams at evaluating draft talent in the NFL. Finding a solid replacement for Alualu through this upcoming draft shouldn’t be too hard for this scouting department.

If the team cuts him before June 1, they’ll save about two million in cap space. Saving that money should make this an easy decision for the Steelers front office.
