Tee Higgins
From Week 1 of the 2019 season, Lamar Jackson proved that he made strides as a quarterback last offseason. After working on his craft, Jackson won the NFL’s MVP Award in 2019, throwing for 3,127 and 36 touchdowns with the Ravens.
Given that Jackson is the focal point of the franchise, it’s vital that Baltimore surrounds him with more weapons. During last year’s draft, the Ravens selected Marquise Brown in the first round, giving Jackson a vertical threat in the offense.
However, aside from Brown, the Ravens lacked a consistence at the No. 2 spot at wide receiver. In light of that, Tee Higgins would be a fantastic addition to Baltimore’s aerial attack in the second round. If Higgins would’ve been in last year’s draft class, he could have easily been the first wide receiver taken.
But with this year’s class being so deep, Higgins finds himself possibly falling into the second round. Standing at 6-foot-4, Higgins is a big-bodied target that excels at making contested catches down the field. If the Ravens can add a talent like Higgins on day two of the draft, their offense is going to be even tougher to slow down in 2020.
