3 players the Seahawks could target at No. 59 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Matt Hennessy

If the Seahawks are interested in improving the interior offensive line in the second round, they’ll have a handful of options to choose from. In the event that they don’t want Lewis or he’s no longer available, Matt Hennessy out of Temple would be a remarkable choice at No. 59.

While Cesar Ruiz and Lloyd Cushenberry garner the attention of teams, Hennessy seems to be overlooked as one of the best interior linemen available in this year’s draft. Over the course of his last three seasons at Temple, Hennessy started at center.

Whether the Seahawks want Finney to start at center or not, Hennessy is capable of playing guard. On the other hand, Finney could be moved to guard and allow Hennessy to become Seattle’s long-term answer at center. Even though it wouldn’t be the flashiest pick, being able to land Hennessy in the second round would be a home run for the Seahawks.
