Neville Gallimore
Again, the Steelers need to do everything they can to find Hargrave’s replacement on the interior defensive line. While Hamilton would be a viable replacement, Neville Gallimore would be a home-run selection for Pittsburgh at No. 49.
In his four seasons at Oklahoma, Gallimore gradually improved each year, having his best season in 2019 as a senior. The Sooners’ defensive tackle was able to notch four sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles this past season.
Even though Gallimore is at his best attacking one gap on the defensive line, he is more than capable of becoming a nose tackle in the NFL. Gallimore is a perfect blend of quickness and lower-body strength, making him an intriguing addition for any defense.
The ability to be a contributor as a pass rusher in certain moments makes Gallimore a plug-and-play starter for the Steelers. In the event that Pittsburgh wants to fill the void left by Hargrave, they’d be hard pressed to find a better one than Gallimore in the second round.
