1. Le’Veon Bell
As previously mentioned, the Buccaneers are in dire need of a versatile running back. Besides running back, Tampa Bay also needs to address the offensive line this offseason.
However, the Buccaneers can use the draft and free agency to bulk up their offensive line. As for the running back position, it may be best for Tampa Bay to make some calls to teams to find a proven veteran.
At the top of the list of trade targets at running back, Le’Veon Bell would be a match made in heaven for Arians’ offense. Last offseason, Bell signed a lucrative four-year, $52.5 million contract with the New York Jets.
Even though Bell statistically had the worst year of his career in 2019, it wasn’t due to his ability. The Jets had a patchwork offensive line that failed to give the All-Pro running back much room to do damage on the ground.
It isn’t a secret that Adam Gase wasn’t a fan of the move for New York to sign Bell and he could push for him to be traded. While Arians’ offense is a pass-heavy offense, Bell is more than capable of lining out wide or running routes out of the backfield to be a receiving threat.
