3 players who must take the next step for the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason

Josh Jacobs, Running Back

How could we not mention running back Josh Jacobs on this list? Let’s start this off by saying that Jacobs already looks the part of a star. He was an immediate weapon in his rookie season and was one of the most productive running backs in the league.

Jacobs carried the football 242 times for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns, which rounded out to 4.8 yards per carry. He also caught 20 passes for 166 yards.

Las Vegas will need to continue leaning on their young running back. Derek Carr is a much better quarterback than many give him credit for, but he needs pressure taken off of his arm. If Jacobs takes the next step in his development, the Raiders are going to be tough to stop offensively.
