3. Kevin Johnson
When watching the Buffalo Bills on defense, Tre’Davious White is the cornerback that everyone knows about. On the other hand, Levi Wallace and Kevin Johnson also performed well for the Bills in 2019.
Johnson was a first-round pick of the Houston Texans in 2015 and signed with Buffalo in 2019. Despite not recording an interception this season, the Wake Forest product still managed to make 32 tackles and five deflections as the Bills nickel corner.
The Bills are in jeopardy of losing both Wallace and Johnson in free agency. Of the two, Johnson is a better fit for San Francisco’s physical style of play on defense.
Heading into next season, Richard Sherman is still a Pro-Bowl caliber corner but he needs help on the other side. Someone like Johnson could give the 49ers some much-needed help in the secondary.
