3 potential defensive line targets for the Green Bay Packers in free agency

3. Mike Daniels, Defensive Tackle, Detroit Lions

Bringing back a former defensive line standout would be an intriguing move for the Packers. Prior to the 2019 season, the team made the tough decision to release Mike Daniels to save some cap room. It was a tough decision, but one that made sense in the moment.

Daniels spent the 2019 season with the Detroit Lions, although he only played in nine games and didn’t have much of an impact. He ended up with just 10 total tackles and a sack on the year.

Green Bay could go out and offer Daniels a one or two-year deal to return home. Daniels loved his time with the Packers and the team could use a better defensive tackle option alongside of Kenny Clark.
