3 potential defensive line targets for the Green Bay Packers in free agency

2. Gerald McCoy, Carolina Panthers

Another potential option at defensive tackle could be Panthers’ impending free agent Gerald McCoy. Just a couple short years ago, McCoy was one of the most feared presences on the defensive line in the entire NFL. He may not be that anymore, but he would still be an upgrade for the Packers.

In 2019 with Carolina, McCoy registered 37 tackles to go along with five sacks and two defended passes. A duo of Kenny Clark and McCoy would be lethal for Green Bay.

McCoy is going to be an intriguing free agent option for quite a few teams. Green Bay should be one of them.
