3 potential defensive targets for the Rams this offseason

1. Markus Golden

Along with drafting Anae, Los Angeles should be looking to add a veteran off of the edge as well. While he isn’t a grizzled veteran, Markus Golden could be a viable choice for the Rams.

Golden spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals before signing with the New York Giants in 2019. In his lone season with the Giants, the Missouri product tallied 10 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, and 27 quarterback hits.

Even if Fowler departs, the Rams would still have Clay Matthews and Samson Ebukam available off of the edge. Adding guys like Anae and Golden into the mix would create a dangerous pass-rushing unit in Los Angeles.
