Running it back with the Kansas City Chiefs is an option that would be difficult for a player to turn down. They just won the Super Bowl and are surely going to be competing at the highest level for years to come with Patrick Mahomes leading the way.

Not being able to retain Bashaud Breeland would leave the Chiefs with Charvarius Ward, Rashad Fenton, and Antonio Hamilton as the main options left on the roster. They would surely need to shift course and focus on selecting a corner early in the 2020 NFL Draft.

It’s especially important for a team like the Chiefs to have good corners and not have to immediately rely on inexperienced options. Teams have to resort to their passing attack in order to keep up with Mahomes and if the Chiefs have effective corners, that is difficult to accomplish.
