The free agency window has been open for a little more than two weeks now and while many teams have spent the majority of their cap space, the free agent market still contains some quality veterans. One impact player who’s still available is former Vikings‘ edge rusher, Everson Griffen.
The 32-year-old opted out of his deal with Minnesota three weeks prior to free agency, allowing him to negotiate with other teams for the first time in his 10-year career.
Griffen is coming off of a season in which he recorded 41 tackles, eight sacks, one interception, and two pass breakups, earning a nod to the Pro Bowl for the fourth time in five years.
Given his track record of pressuring opposing quarterbacks, it’s surprising that someone of his caliber still remains open for business.
Here are three suitors who appear to be potential fits for Griffen entering the 2020 season.
