1. Indianapolis Colts
As the season began to play out last year, it became evident that Indianapolis isn’t sold on Jacoby Brissett. Fortunately enough for the Colts, they have an astronomical amount of money to spend this offseason, and quarterback shall remain their top priority. According to Spotrac.com, Chris Ballard has an estimated $86 million in total cap space to re-configure the roster makeup heading into 2020.
The Colts offense presents a nice foundation with a stout offensive line, which would serve Teddy Bridgewater’s capabilities in the pocket quite nicely. Since Bridgewater’s injury, his ability to scramble has been largely diminished, but the Colts front five would provide exactly the protection he needs to thrive as a consistent passer.
Frank Reich’s offense features a high-end running back in Marlon Mack and a legitimate No.1 wide receiver with T.Y Hilton.
With that supporting cast, Bridgewater would land on his feet with two superior weapons to lean on as he gets back into the swing of things as a full-16 game starter.
