Reggie Ragland
Unlike some teams, the Bears aren’t going to have much to spend in free agency. Due to Chicago’s financial limitations, they could compile a list of cost-effective options in free agency.
Among the players that could help save money, Reggie Ragland is an intriguing option for the Bears. Ragland began his career as a second-round pick for the Buffalo Bills in 2016.
Despite his early-round selection, Ragland was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs just a season after joining the Bills. Over the last three seasons, Ragland has been a starting linebacker for the Chiefs.
This season, Ragland managed to record only 30 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two sacks. Even though his numbers were lacking in 2019, he would be a decent fit alongside Smith in the Bears’ defense.
