Brandon Scherff, OL

Scherff is going to be the underrated steal of free agency for some team come March. It is unknown if Scherff and the Washington Redskins will come to terms. They could also choose to place the franchise tag on their right guard but if they let him go, one team will make out like a bandit.

There are constant concerns surrounding offensive lineman and Scherff is no different. He has dealt with his fair share of injuries over the course of his career but that should not make any team shy away. Scherff is one of the best guards in the league. He is a tough player on the field and will make any line immediately better. This is something that Carolina could use, especially since their offense is based around their running back.

Christian McCaffrey has quickly turned into one of the best running backs in football. It is extremely important that he remains healthy and reliable. Scherff is the type of player that will open holes for McCaffrey and get out and block in the screen game. Scherff will not come with a cheap price tag, but he will be worth every dollar.
