3 potential steals for the Eagles in the third round of the NFL Draft

Looking ahead to the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles know they need to bring in a few young impact players. While they have a lot of talent on their roster already, adding players on rookie deals who are capable of playing a role if called upon is very important.

The best teams in the NFL always seem to draft well. Teams that can draft in the third round and on are even better. Almost every team can find a key player in the first or second round.

Philadelphia ended up shocking the Dallas Cowboys to win the NFC East division in 2019. Unfortunately, their season was cut short in the Wild Card round of the playoffs by the Seattle Seahawks. Carson Wentz suffered a concussion and missed the majority of the game, which was the beginning of the end for them.

In the 2020 draft class, there are quite a few players who will be available in the third and fourth rounds who could become immediate role players. Philadelphia needs to make sure to find one of them.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three potential steals the Eagles could find in the third round with the No. 85 overall pick.
