3 potential steals for the Eagles in the third round of the NFL Draft

Antoine Winfield Jr., Safety, Minnesota

Finally, Antoine Winfield Jr. should be the top option for the Eagles with this selection. They need help at safety in a big way and the Minnesota standout would be a perfect addition for them.

In 2019 with the Golden Gophers, Winfield ended up with 85 total tackles to go along with three sacks, two forced fumbles, seven interceptions, a defensive touchdown, and a defended pass. The interception total pops off the charts. Philadelphia needs that kind of a playmaking presence in their secondary.

Philadelphia needs to focus on the backend of their defense this offseason. They cannot continue to allow opponents to pass all over them. Winfield could certainly help with that.
