3 potential steals for the Panthers in the third round of the NFL Draft

Joe Maiorana-USA TODAY Sports

Malik Harrison, Linebacker, Ohio State

Next up, replacing Luke Kuechly is going to be nearly impossible. Kuechly meant everything to the Panthers and has been one of the NFL’s top linebackers since he came into the NFL. However, the Panthers have to try.

Malik Harrison is not going to be the one-fix wonder for Carolina. He is a good talent, but he will only be half of the fix. With the Buckeyes in 2019, Harrison totaled 75 tackles to go along with 4.5 sacks and four defended passes.

Carolina will need a lot of help at inside linebacker without Kuechly. They won’t be able to fill his production completely, but Harrison could be a project that steps in as a quality starter very early on in his NFL career.
