3 potential trade targets for the Patriots this offseason

The New England Patriots actually proved that they were human in 2019. After being in the Super Bowl for three straight years, New England fell short of advancing to the Conference Championship Round for the first time since 2009.

While the Patriots boasted a historically great defense, the offense left a lot to be desired. Despite having Tom Brady under center, New England lacked offensive firepower.

Aside from Julian Edelman, the Patriots didn’t have many reliable options in the passing attack. Even though Brady showed signs of declining, most of the blame can be placed on the weapons—or lack thereof—in the offense.

Now, for the first time in his prestigious career, Brady is going to test free agency. Of course, Brady could choose to remain with the team he’s spent 20 seasons with.
