3 potential wide receiver targets for the Patriots in free agency

The New England Patriots were unable to defeat the Tennessee Titans in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs. Unfortunately, the team may be looking at a major offseason of change as well. Tom Brady is set to hit free agency and many believe that there is a real chance he could end up leaving town.

While there is a decent chance Brady will actually listen to offers from other teams, many NFL legends have come out and warned him about leaving. Until he actually signs a contract elsewhere, we will continue believing that Brady will simply end up re-signing with the Patriots.

If Brady does re-sign with the Patriots, or even if he doesn’t, the team will need to go out and bring in more wide receiver talent. There were quite a few issues at the position in 2019.

New England is still going to be a very attractive landing spot for free agents even if Brady does leave town. Bill Belichick is still one of the best heads coaches of all-time and the team should be able to bring in another good quarterback to replace Brady. More than likely, however, the Patriots will simply be signing wide receivers to help Brady out in his old age.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three perfect wide receiver targets for the Patriots in free agency this offseason.
