Le’Veon Bell will break 500 yards receiving
Bell almost broke 500 yards receiving last season, but he came up about 40 yards short. While the Jets signed Breshad Perriman, losing Robby Anderson to the Panthers opens up about 100 targets to go around.
Sam Darnold has at times looked like a promising young quarterback, but he still struggles to read defenses and having a dependable check down will be one of his best friends. Bell got a big pay day before the 2019, but if he wants to see the last two years of that deal then he better step it up.
After this season, the Jets can let go of Bell for only four million dollars in dead cap space. It’s time for him to put up or shut up.
