3. Green’s Presence Would Power The Steelers Back Into Contention

If Green does end up leaving the Bengals this offseason, he will be heading to a team who can compete for a Super Bowl. Pittsburgh may not look like a championship contender right now, but the addition of Green would take them to that level.

Over the years, the Steelers have had a lot of talent at the wide receiver position. Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster were an absolute cheat code. Green and Smith-Schuster would be exactly the same.

Signing with the Steelers would immediately give the team the firepower to get back to the top of the AFC. Roethlisberger isn’t the superstar that he once was, but with weapons like Green and Smith-Schuster, his could have a late-career resurgence.
