3 reasons Browns QB Baker Mayfield will bounce back strong in 2020

We can all say that the 2020 NFL season is a make it or break it year for Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. Now it may be sad or not fair given the circumstances of Mayfield being on his fourth head coach in just three seasons, but that is the way it has shaken out.

Mayfield looked like he had all the tools and success as a rookie to develop into a franchise quarterback. He broke the rookie quarterback touchdown record and led the Browns to a 5-2 record in the final seven games. We all assumed with the switch to Freddie Kitchens as head coach it would only help Mayfield’s development and make strides in 2019, but boy were we wrong!

Baker took a big step back, started making commercials that only got more annoying as the season went on and oh yeah, he got into who knows how many Twitter wars with other players or sports analysts. Now there is still some hope for Browns fans, especially with the firing of Kitchens as head coach.

Let’s dive into three reasons Baker Mayfield will ultimately bounce back strong in 2020.
