Chance to Build a New Core
It’s no secret the Jaguars have experienced a significant shift in the landscape of their roster since their 24-20 loss to the New England Patriots in the 2018 AFC Championship Game.
There are just a handful of players remaining on the Jaguars’ roster from their 2017 roster. Let’s not forget, that includes Leonard Fournette and Yannick Ngakoue, both of which will likely be traded at some point in the relative future.
With so much roster turnover, the Jaguars clearly need to start fresh in the worst way. It was clear there would be problems for Jacksonville to keep their players happy considering how they’ve had by far the most complaints by players to the NFLPA in recent years.
The expectation is for the Jaguars to be one of the worst teams in the NFL during the upcoming 2020 season. They have many holes to fill but at least they’ll have their top corner in Henderson.
