Jacoby Brissett is not a Super Bowl Quarterback
Given the fact that Brissett had no idea he’d be the starting quarterback for the Colts until just a week or so before the season kicked off, he played relatively well. He went 7-8 as the starter while throwing for 2,942 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Not bad for a backup quarterback, but not exactly the kind of numbers your looking for out of your franchise QB.
Brissett is a very solid backup quarterback in this league, if not the best. He had his opportunity to prove that he’s more than that this past season, but unfortunately, he didn’t capitalize on it.
