1. Availability
The cliche that the best ability is availability applies here. Prescott has yet to miss a start in his career, while Wentz has not finished his final game of a season fully healthy since his rookie season.
The randomness of a torn ACL before the Eagles made a run to win Super Bowl LII in 2017 is one thing. But a back injury the following year that kept him out of the playoffs, and a concussion in last year’s playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, are black marks for Wentz. He also missed a big chunk of his final season at North Dakota State with a broken wrist.
Any argument that Wentz is more talented than Prescott is flimsy, at best. The durability factor clearly tips the scales toward the Cowboys quarterback.
