3 reasons a Dez Bryant reunion makes sense for the Cowboys

Having time off has helped Bryant to heal

Given the timing of Dez Bryant’s injury, it essentially required him to take most of the 2019 season off to recover at a minimum. There just wasn’t much time left for him to sign mid-season with a team and be able to be in a position to see the field, so he decided to sit out and fully heal.

Bryant has been working hard on getting physically back to where he once was with his trainer David Robinson, whose expertise is in kinesiology. The clientele his trainer has worked with are rather impressive as it includes Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders.

While it’s just some highlight clips from a workout, the footage made available to the public throughout the last year of Bryant has been intriguing to see. He appears to have made great progress in his overall recovery efforts and prepared to play again.

The Cowboys wouldn’t need Bryant to be as dynamic as he once was like back in 2014. Even at a reduced level of athleticism, he could provide a boost in a role player capacity as defenses key in on Cooper, Elliott, and Gallup.
