Appears to Be Healthier

The main concern regarding Todd Gurley isn’t that of ability, rather his durability. He hasn’t missed many games during his NFL career but his effectiveness diminished significantly last season compared to his previous All-Pro caliber campaigns.

There is a reason for optimism regarding the outlook for Gurley’s health heading into the 2020 season. The Falcons have shared some intriguing videos from his recent workouts on their official Twitter account showing signs he is healthy.

Of course, it’s difficult to put a ton of stock into videos that occur in late May when Gurley still needs to prove his arthritis will not be an issue throughout the course of a full season. Until then, the indication appears to be that it’s more likely than not to occur, nevertheless.

The amount of accomplishments Gurley has achieved by the age of 25 has been nothing short of incredible. He’s been named First Team All-Pro twice and Second Team All-Pro once as well. If he can come close to regaining that form, the Falcons could field a truly impressive offense.
