3 reasons Jordan Love to the Saints makes perfect sense

Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

1. Love Wants To Be Coached

Granted, some fans are going to hate this idea due to the turnover numbers that Love put up in 2019 at Utah State. He threw 17 interceptions and just looking at his numbers will not make anyone confident in this selection.

However, Love is the kind of player who wants to improve and wants to be coached. A guy like Sean Payton could work with him and develop the raw talent. Bringing in a guy as hungry to be great as Love is can always be a great swing for the fences.

New Orleans cannot afford to be hesitant. Bridgewater may end up staying and could be the quarterback of the future. But if he doesn’t, Love would be a perfect long-term option to take over the franchise when Brees does walk away.
