3. Philip Rivers Could Make The Colts A Super Bowl Contender

Let’s not act like Philip Rivers hasn’t been a very successful player throughout his career. He has led the Los Angeles Chargers to many great years and heading to the Colts would give him another opportunity to do the same.

Chris Ballard has a ton of cap space to work with this offseason and some great NFL Draft assets as well. Signing Rivers would only be one step. If they can bring him in, the Colts would almost certainly spend big to open up their championship window.

Rivers would be a much better option at quarterback if the Colts are looking to contend now. His arm may not be what it once was, but he is still the kind of player who can power an offense to the elite level.
