3. His Production Is Incredibly Underrated
Quite simply, Matthew Stafford is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the entire NFL. He has consistently put up big numbers, but is not recognized due to the fact that he plays for the Lions. It’s a shame that more people have not watched and appreciated his game.
Stafford dealt with injury problems in 2019, but played in eight games. In those eight appearances, Stafford completed 64.3 percent of his passes for 2,499 yards, 19 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. He was well on his way to a massive season.
Detroit won’t trade him just to move him. Indianapolis would have to give up a valuable asset, but it would be well worth it. With his production and arm, the Colts would immediately become a serious contender in the AFC again.
